Carpet Cleaning Methods for Carpet Cleaning

What kind of methods are involved in this work? Here are some traditional methods that can be used.

1. Steam Cleaning

Steam cleaning is the most popular deep cleaning process that helps to free the dirt & grime that gets caught up in the fibers of the carpet. It combines the use of quality chemicals along with a high-pressure blast of steam and hot water resulting in a clean & dirt free carpet.
If you're using such a method, the chances are that your carpet will dry in a few minutes, but sometimes it might take 12-16 hours to dry depending on the climate of your area.

2. Dry Carpet Cleaning

This method allows a moisture free technology to clean carpets by using specialized machines along with dedicated chemicals. When treated with this method, your carpet would take about 2-3 hours to be ready for your use after the cleaning job is done.
This technique results in the beautification of the carpet while removing the allergens, dirt, grit, sand and stains. Thus, through this method, you get a long-lasting, visually good and much healthier carpet.

3. Bonnet Cleaning

This technique is suitable for loop pile carpets and isn't recommended for residential cleaning. However, don't doubt the efficiency of this technique that is a minimum moisture cleaning method that involves three procedures turning the carpet into an excellent and clean product.
It is highly preferred to maintain the appearance levels of the carpets and takes about 103 hours to dry.

4. Carpet Shampooing

Carpet shampooing is a method that involves the use of shampoo. This shampoo is equivalent to a liquid detergent that can be used to clean rugs and carpets. The use of this technique isn't that familiar, and obtaining a good quality shampoo is a problem.

The shampoo is used as the carpet cleaner that creates foam and catch the dust from the carpet fibers. Then this foam is removed leaving a clean dust free carpet. It takes about 4-8 hours to dry them and make it ready for use.

If you're going to use this technique, make sure there is no use of optical brightener in the shampoo for that product creates optical illusions to convince you that you have a clean carpet but ultimately, ruin it by turning the fibers into a permanent yellow shade.
